Jennifer Parsons’ art is rooted in her upbringing in the mountains of rural Appalachia. She’s the daughter of a factory seamstress and has enjoyed a lifelong love of paper-based craftsmanship. In addition to traditional arts and crafts projects, she’s produced short films of paper-cut animation and has a reputation among her friends for bestowing hand-stitched gifts of art at birthdays and holidays. With such a positive response, it was no surprise that high-end paperie Soolip began carrying her one-of-a-kind cards in their West Hollywood boutique and soon after brought Jennifer on as a design consultant at their custom office. In 2005 Jennifer started Tiny Pine Press and has offered unique designs with a high commitment since. She is happily printing with a vintage 1950 Chandler & Price Pilot Press and currently works full time designing, printing, stitching and running the show at Tiny Pine Press.
Besides the love of paper, Jennifer invests time baking treats and editing music videos for her friends and family. She has a BIG collection of rotary telephones… and a small collection of roosters.
